BEDFORD GROUP PRESENTS NEWEST SEMINAR
Generational Differences in the Workplace
Dr. Linda Duxbury is a professor at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University. Dr. Duxbury, a recognized authority in Multi Generational Issues, is widely published in both the academic and practitioner literatures.
There are four distinct generations in the workplace: the Veteran Generation, the Baby Boomers, Generation X and Generation Y (a generation known by many names). This discussion will allow us to recognize the diversity that these generations represent and understand the different career paths and consequent career hurdles faced by each generation.
Recognizing generational differences in the workplace is an issue that all organizations must step up to in framing their employment value proposition. Winning and retaining talent is quickly becoming the most critical leadership issue of our age.
This seminar will be of keen interest to anyone in a critical leadership role.
Monday June 11th, 2007, Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre, By Invitation Only
