We are currently seeking a Mine Manager for our clients successful operations in West Africa. Our client is a Canadian-based gold company, which acquired an operating gold mine and a large regional exploration land package in West Africa. Management believes the mine operation, together with the Company's prospective 1,488 km2 land package, provide the basis for growth in reserves, production, earnings and cash flow as new discoveries are made and processed through the Company's existing mill. The company is seeking a Mine Manager to assist in managing the current mine operations. The incumbent will focus on operational developments, mine planning and continuous improvement in operations.

Reporting to the Mine Manager, the Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for the overall performance of the Surface and Underground mine maintenance operations. This person will ensure the surface and underground maintenance department runs safely and effectively while achieving reliability, operating and budgeting targets defined in production operating plans. The surface includes a milling operation (CIL), a hoisting plant, a ventilation and heating plant, with several buildings such as shop, power distribution and pumping system. The underground mining method is conventional cut and fill, with some mobile diesel equipment and stationary equipment.
This position is scheduled on a fly-in/fly-out rotation (rotation to be discussed) or with the possibility to reside in a major centre close to site.
Required is an applicable Degree from a recognized university and/or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years experience in mining or maintenance or operations with emphasis on progressive experience on Surface and in UG mining operations.

The Senior Process Engineer will sit within the Owner’s engineering team, supporting the Vice President of Operations. They will be responsible and accountable for leading and coordinating the Process engineering team during the development of basic and detailed design. The Senior Process Engineer will provide leadership and a high level of coordination of the process design criteria of a 1250 tpd CIL gold mill, integrated with a paste fill plant, the tailings management facilities and the water treatment plant, and will oversee the environment compliance plan.
The position is offered on either a rotational basis into northern Ontario, or the incumbent can live in the closest major and developed city centre near the mine site.
Required is a University degree in process engineering or related degree along with a minimum of 8 years experience in process design of a gold mill (gravity & CIL).

The Chief Mine Engineer will lead an engineering administrative function, directing both professional and technical groups in interrelated engineering responsibilities. The incumbent is responsible for departmental output performances and will determines through dialogue and investigations opportunities in reaching program objectives.
The position is accountable for the coordination and delivery of all engineering services to the mine, including those of special resource groups, such that these services are of the highest professional standards, meet all appropriate health, safety and environmental regulations and also meet the goals and objectives of the organization. The Chief Mine Engineer leads the annual site budget and life of mine (LOM) planning processes and is accountable for ensuring that technical systems, processes and standards at the mine are consistent with company best practices
The position is accountable for meeting production schedule milestone dates and budget objectives, which include all processes directly and indirectly related to the operations. The position is key in ensuring integration of direct and indirect accountabilities as services required to meet the site business targets.
Candidates are expected to be a Certified Professional Mining Engineer in the province of Ontario with 7+ years underground mine experience. Our client has announced a 12 Month $55 million development and exploration program designed to maintain the Company on its critical path of development to support production. Reporting to the companies Vice President Exploration, the Chief Mine Geologist will have the mandate to advance resource evaluation and all other aspects of mine geology to extend life-of-mine for the Project. This will include further developing databases and modeling, interpretation of results and resource estimation, and coordinating with mine engineering to develop mine plans. This position is scheduled on a fly-in/fly-out rotation.
Required is a Geologist with 10+ years and must have experience in narrow-view gold mining and shield experience. Expertise in ore reserve planning, exploration drilling, ore grade and quality control with the vision to perceive risks and opportunities with superior decision-making ability to act on these accordingly.
Compensation is commensurate for a senior role of this type consisting of; base salary, short-term annual incentive, long-term incentive plan, a comprehensive benefits.
