The Company is the second largest landholder in the area after a major and already producing mining company. The Company’s strategy is to bring its’ Project into production as quickly as possible while also continuing exploration on its other properties as prospective opportunities are identified. It enjoys a number of social and infrastructure advantages that allow it to pursue a fast track approach to developing the project. Our client is targeting production to commence in Q4, 2013.
Reporting to the Mine Manager, the Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for the overall performance of the Surface and Underground mine maintenance operations. This person will ensure the surface and underground maintenance department runs safely and effectively while achieving reliability, operating and budgeting targets defined in production operating plans. The surface includes a milling operation (CIL), a hoisting plant, a ventilation and heating plant, with several buildings such as shop, power distribution and pumping system. The underground mining method is conventional cut and fill, with some mobile diesel equipment and stationary equipment.
This position is scheduled on a fly-in/fly-out rotation (rotation to be discussed) or with the possibility to reside in a major centre close to site.
Required is an applicable Degree from a recognized university and/or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years experience in mining or maintenance or operations with emphasis on progressive experience on Surface and in UG mining operations.

Our client is a junior mining and Exploration Company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of mining properties in Canada, and is currently focused primarily on nickel in Ontario
Our clients exploration and mining properties represent an excellent balance of green-fields and advanced projects that deliver a strong growth potential. Our clients long term business plan includes a capital program that was initiated in the second quarter of 2011 to improve the existing mines infrastructure and extend the original mine plan by 7 years.
The Mine, which produced 8 million tones between 1974 and 2004 is located southwest of the City of Sudbury. Our client acquired the mine in 2005 and commenced commercial production in 2006 extracting an additional 364,000 tonnes. In 2008, the mine was placed on care and maintenance due to low metal prices.
The Chief Mine Engineer will lead an engineering administrative function, directing both professional and technical groups in interrelated engineering responsibilities. The incumbent is responsible for departmental output performances and will determines through dialogue and investigations opportunities in reaching program objectives.
The position is accountable for the coordination and delivery of all engineering services to the mine, including those of special resource groups, such that these services are of the highest professional standards, meet all appropriate health, safety and environmental regulations and also meet the goals and objectives of the organization. The Chief Mine Engineer leads the annual site budget and life of mine (LOM) planning processes and is accountable for ensuring that technical systems, processes and standards at the mine are consistent with company best practices
The position is accountable for meeting production schedule milestone dates and budget objectives, which include all processes directly and indirectly related to the operations. The position is key in ensuring integration of direct and indirect accountabilities as services required to meet the site business targets.
Candidates are expected to be a Certified Professional Mining Engineer in the province of Ontario with 7+ years underground mine experience. Candidates will have career development path in mining engineering and mining operations and be of character to handle stress of continual deadlines and work without close supervision.

This highly prospective project, comprising some 510 hectares, continues to be the focus of the Company’s exploration efforts since making the high-grade gold discovery in 2007. The Company is the second largest landholder in the area and it enjoys a number of social and infrastructure advantages that allow it to pursue a fast track approach to developing their project.
Published reports indicated that the project has excellent potential to develop into an economic underground gold mine. Following a 2-year construction period the underground mine is expected to produce 1250 tpd with a 12-year mine life. The Project substantially benefits from outstanding infrastructure, which includes an operational shaft to 338 metres, grid power, and a permitted tailings facility.
Our client has announced a 12 Month $55 million development and exploration program designed to maintain the Company on its critical path of development to support production. As part of this program the Company has also committed $3.6 million to secure key long-lead orders for milling and mine equipment.
Reporting to the companies Vice President Exploration, the Chief Mine Geologist will have the mandate to advance resource evaluation and all other aspects of mine geology to extend life-of-mine for the Project. This will include further developing databases and modeling, interpretation of results and resource estimation, and coordinating with mine engineering to develop mine plans. This position is scheduled on a fly-in/fly-out rotation.
Required is a Geologist with 10+ years and must have experience in narrow-view gold mining and shield experience. Expertise in ore reserve planning, exploration drilling, ore grade and quality control with the vision to perceive risks and opportunities with superior decision-making ability to act on these accordingly.
Compensation is commensurate for a senior role of this type consisting of; base salary, short-term annual incentive, long-term incentive plan, a comprehensive benefits.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, The Chief Technology Officer is a newly created, independent contributor role. He/she will be the technical visionary/guru who will be responsible for setting the direction and long-term vision of technology for the organization. With a strong business understanding, he/she will find and assess opportunities for profitable growth for the organization’s portfolio of services through technology, partnerships and acquisitions. He or she will ensure that company-wide technology planning is inter-locked with overall strategies and objectives.
This is a highly visible position among the senior leadership team, requiring an exceptional candidate with the technical visionary capabilities and presence to work comfortably across the enterprise on high impact projects and create and build external relationships with business partners and vendors.
The ideal candidate for this role will have an Undergraduate degree Computer Science or Engineering; an MBA is preferred however is not a requirement. Advanced technology experience/ prowess in IP Internet and experience in consulting for technology companies will be necessary for success in this role. The ideal candidate should be able to operate in a high pressure, demanding, high growth environment and comfortable with risk and non-conformity; overall a self-starter that is highly motivated who is able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and deal effectively with ambiguity and complexity. He/she should also have strong business acumen with the ability to link the business direction and priorities to technology; establishing internal and external expectations and clear communications.

Our client is a Canadian based leader in automating, managing, outsourcing and and fulfilling companies’ document intensive functions.
Based in Brampton, the Vice President, Document Management is a newly created role with the mandate to conceptualize, develop and take to market innovative products and services that will expand and build upon the company’s strong market position in the industry. As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, this critical leadership role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and will have responsibility for transforming the Document Management offering of the organization into an industry leader in web based and professional services that could potentially include enterprise content management, electronic documents, data analysis/business intelligence and/or document process outsourcing.
The ideal candidate will be a poised and polished product leader and strategist with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant digital document management experience gained either as a senior consultant or operational strategist, including P&L responsibility. He/she has a demonstrated track record of effectively developing, building and implementing innovative new lines of business or product/service lines, where they have displayed an analytical, strategic thought process and ability to drive innovation throughout an organization.
